Once we confirm that all premiums accrued up to and including the incident date have been collected (or otherwise reserved) and we are satisfied with the information and documentation you have provided, we will choose to settle any valid claims (up to a maximum value of the sum insured less the excess) in any of the following ways:
- repair at a repairer of our choice;
- replacement at a supplier of our choice;
- compensation; or
- a combination of the above.
If we choose to repair or replace, we are not obliged to do so exactly and only as circumstances reasonably allow.
If we choose to compensate you, any claim payouts are made electronically via bank transfer in South Africa with local currency.
We may require you to sign an agreement of loss before we settle your claim.
